Das ASUS KFN32-D SLI ist ein High-End Workstation-Mainboard welches für CAx-Systeme oder für intensive Grafikbearbeitung, Kino-Produktionen und für Software wie 3D Studio Max ausgelegt ist. Das Board unterstützt 2 Opteron Prozessoren, nach BIOS-Update auch Quadcore-CPUs mit wie die Opterons mit Barcelona-Kern. Der nVIDIA MCP55 Chipsatz ist SLi-fähig, der jedoch Grafikkarten nur mit je 8 Lanes ansteuern kann. Als weiteres Feature bietet das Mainboard 2 PCI-X Steckplätze an, die mit bis zu 64 Bit ansteuerbar sind. Grafikkarten wie die nVIDIA Quadro-Serie finden gerne auf diesem Mainboard Platz! |
