AMD Opteron™ 8400 Prozessor
Die Opteron 8400-Serie basiert auf die AMD K10-Architektur und ist technische mit dem Phenom II X6 verwandt. Alle Opteron 8400-Modelle sind Hexa-Core-Opterons und da diese Prozessoren SMP-fähig sind, lassen sich 8P-Workstation bzw. Server aus Ihnen herstellen.
Die Hexa-Core Opterons sind in 45 nm gefertigt und besitzen einen L3-Cache von 6144 kByte, der von allen Kernen gemeinsam verwendet werden kann.
