AMD Athlon™ II Neo Mobile-Prozessor
Der AMD Athlon II Neo ist einer der Hauptprozessoren für die Nile-Plattform, die 2010 im Netbook-Bereich auf den Markt gekommen ist. Der Athlon II Neo ist eine ernstzunehmende Konkurenz der Intel Atom-CPU ist. Durch die Abspeckung ins 45 nm Verfahren und durch Kombination eines relativ leistungsschwachen Prozessor mit Unterstützung für den sparsamen DDR3 SD-RAM sinkt die Leistungsaufnahme enorm ab. Mit nur 12 Watt Leistungsaufnahme schlägt sich der Ein- oder Zweizeller ganz gut. Alle restlichen Spezifikationen entsprechen dem Athlon II Mobilprozessor. Der Athlon II Neo basiert als Single-Core auf den Geneva-Kern, als Dual-Core auf den Champlain, der gewisse Ähnlichkeiten mit dem Caspian C3 hat.
